Custom Printing Help
What is custom printing?
Custom printing is when you provide an STL file to print with various adjustable parameters. You can design the file yourself with different software, or download a model you like from the Internet.
How it works
If you have the model’s STL file, upload it on the Custom Printing page. Otherwise, you can download ready‑made models from sites like the popular free Thingiverse. After upload, the model appears in the browser in an interactive 3D viewer. Here you can adjust various parameters. If you’re unsure, the defaults are a good starting point and usually provide solid quality.
No manual quote needed
Unlike many 3D printing services, Zaccord doesn’t require lengthy back‑and‑forth to get a custom price. You get pricing instantly at upload. The service calculates a fixed price from mass and other parameters, so you immediately know the cost. The base price is 1990 Ft; every custom print costs at least this much.
What are the min/max object sizes?
No lower bound. Maximum build volume is 450 × 450 × 470 mm for FDM and 65 × 115 × 150 mm for SLA.
Changing parameters
You can freely change parameters for the print. Defaults usually work well, but you can tweak them for special needs. For downloaded files, use the author’s recommended settings when available. Changes apply to all uploaded models in the batch, but you can later adjust per‑item in the cart.
How long is delivery?
Same as for catalog items: up to 10 days from order.
Maximum upload file size
100 MB.
